Until 25 May 2018, online voting in the social media will determine the Award of the Public as well as the 12th finalist in the competition “I am the Best Chef Ever”, organized by the DOMINO Project and HRC Culinary Academy. The online voting is taking place in the Facebook and Youtube channels of the project.

20 students from the DOMINO dual classes in the vocational schools in the towns Dobrich, Burgas, Stara Zagora and Pernik have sent inspiring and creative videos on topic “Tasty, Healthy and Beautiful”.
The members of the jury: Petya Evtimova, DOMINO Team Leader, Delyana Moneva, Director of HRC Culinary Academy, Viktor Svetoslavov, Chef-instructor in HRC Culinary Academy and Iliyan Iliev, Lecturer in Food Photography and Design chose the eleven finalists in the competition. “It is delightful to see participants from the last year of their study, as well as many new ones take part in the competition”, said Petya Evtimova, DOMINO Project Team Leader. “It is impressive that in many of the videos the young chefs put the accent not only on healthy and good looking food, but also on the healthy way of life as their choice”.
“We are gladly surprised by the great number of participants and the quality of their video clips. The content and the visual presentation of the videos are at a very high level, having in mind the age of the competitors”, said Delyana Moneva, Director of HRC Culinary Academy. “The videos are on the subject and in a creative way represent the topic of healthy food”.
The final of the competition will be a cooking session on 1-st of June at HRC Culinary Academy. The chef-instructors of the Academy and the Head of DOMINO Project will select the best three ones of the participants in the competition “I am the Best Chef Ever”.
The award for the winner is a scholarship of 2000 euro for courses in HRC Culinary Academy. The participants who win the second and the third place will have the chance to study in the Academy with a scholarships of 1000 and 500 euro. The awards are offered by the HRC Culinary Academy, one of the prestigious culinary schools in Bulgaria and in the region.

DOMINO Project
The DOMINO Project supports the introduction of dual education in Bulgaria. It is implemented with the financial support of the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Programme. 1,114 students in 32 schools across the country are trained under the system “learning by doing” in 8 professions including cooks. There are 170 leading Bulgarian and foreign companies who are partners in the project, providing students with a practice, giving them the chance to acquire specific professional skills in real work environment and to earn some money as well.
