Eleonora Angelova, a student from the Vocational School for Tourism “P.K.Yavorov” – Dobrich is the winner in the competition “I am the Best Chef Ever”, organized by HRC Culinary Academy and the Bulgarian-Swiss Dual Education Project DOMINO.
Tenzhel Abilova from the same school and Nafise Ahmed from Vocational School for Tourism Prof. Asen Zlatarov” – Burgas share the second place. The third place is for Iliyana Ilieva from the Vocational School for Food and Textile Technology “Rayna Knyagina” – Stara Zagora.
The award for the winner is a scholarship of 2000 euro for training in HRC Culinary Academy. The winners on the second and third place will have the possibility to study in some of HRC Culinary Academy’s programmes with scholarships of 1000 euro and 500 euro. The awards are offered by HRC Academy, one of the prestigious culinary schools in Bulgaria and in the region.
The winners were congratulated by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Denitsa Sacheva: “Congratulations with your choice to study for a chef –one of the professions in much demand, a profession offering many possibilities”. The Deputy Minister encouraged all participants in the competition to continue following their dreams. She wished them to continue cooking with passion and desire.
Twelve students from the DOMINO dual classes in the professional high schools in Dobrich, Burgas, Stara Zagora and Pernik took part today in the final. They cooked chicken meet and the topic was: “Tasty, Healthy and Beautiful”. They also had to distinguish 10 spices and aromas in a blind tasting.
The jury consisted of two professional chef-instructors from HRC Academy – Viktor Svetoslavov and Hugues Boutin, as well as Petya Evtimova, DOMINO Project team leader and Delyana Moneva, Director of HRC Culinary Academy.
They also greet the participants with their successful presentation and wished them new success in school and in the kitchen.
